Sweetwater Creek State Park has a $5 entry fee per car that attendees are responsible for. The venue has designated parking for our guests. Ask for directions to the Cohran lakeside wedding parking (without the picnic tables)! The ceremony will take place by a beautiful lake. This will be a grassy, outdoors area with no seating. Our ceremony will be very short but we want all guests to be comfortable in their shoe choice! Fall in Georgia is gorgeous but can also be chilly. Please check the weather.
After the ceremony, the party will move to the indoors group shelter for cocktail hour, reception, dinner & dancing (this includes Nick too). This space will be indoors with tables and seats. Be on the lookout for clues, mysteries and games. Check the Activities tab for more information on the photo app and DJ Spotify playlist!
Directions from ceremony to reception group shelter:
First arriving at the group shelter and then car pooling to the ceremony area is encouraged as we have 60 designated parking spots at the group shelter, but no reserved parking at the ceremony lakeside area (public area).
Leave the lakeside ceremony by turning left onto Mt Vernon Rd. Then turn left onto Factory Shoals Rd. Follow the signs to the group shelter (turning left at the gate).
